You need one inch or a little more of flat space or surface on interior casing; this is to easily attach the blind brackets.

For outside mounting and mini blind installation, you will have to get the measurement of the overall area width that needs to cover. Try handing the blinds on the exterior of the frame to see if less than one inch of flat surface on the interior casing is present.

Step by step mini blind Installation

A. Know if you desire interior or exterior mounting. You need to make precise window measurements.
B. After buying the right size and shapes of window mini blinds, you must take off window stop from your window’s top portion on the casing.
C. Screw the blind brackets to the casing of the side window. You must use two to three screws for every bracket.
D. Now slide down your window mini blinds into the installed brackets with the use of the right lift cord and left-sided wand.
E. With you blinds in their proper place, you can secure the caps on all blind brackets.
F. Last step in mini blind installation is that If you found out that the mini blinds are long, you can remove some of the bottom slats in order to achieve the right height.
