Mini Blind Installation - An Easy Home Project
The first step to mini blind installation is by determining the position of window mini blinds. You also have to decide if they will be installed in the interior or exterior of your windows. Mounting them in the inside lends a more customized look, while mounting them outside provides more lighting control.

Next step in mini blind installation is to take width measurement between points on which the blind brackets is to be positioned – this is the top, center and bottom points. You should record the most narrow measurements you get. Next you have to get the length measurement from the windowsill’s top interior casing. You need one inch or a little more of flat space or surface on interior casing; this is to easily attach the blind brackets.
For outside mounting and mini blind installation, you will have to get the measurement of the overall area width that needs to cover. Try handing the blinds on the exterior of the frame to see if less than one inch of flat surface on the interior casing is present.
